ANTHONY STEELS/A VOCAL EXPERIENCE at the Alter Ego

Midwest Smooth Jazz is proud to present on Thursday, May 23rd at 6:30pm, ANTHONY STEELS/A VOCAL EXPERIENCE at the Alter Ego, in Omaha, for another Smooth Jazz Thursday.

Anthony Steels first gained National attention when he sang National Anthems for the National Football League as a professional football player. His style appeals to all audiences. At a time when male vocalists are hard to find, Anthony brings a blend of musicality ranging from Lou Rawls, Luther Van Dross to Marvin Gaye. Other band members include Tayte Jones, who at 22 years old is already a very strong and talented soulful female vocalist. She sings Sade, Gladys Knight, Patreece Rushin to Oleta Adams. Norman Love has been entertaining on his saxophone for over 20 years with his smooth jazzy and blues to funky sounds. Mario Beltran is no stranger to the music scene in Omaha and his sounds are very tight and funky. We invite you to come out to hear this VOCAL EXPERIENCE PROJECT.

It’s a new year, and we have a new location! The Midwest Smooth Jazz Society is proud to announce our new home for Smooth Jazz Thursdays.

The Alter Ego Ultra Lounge located at 15244 W. Maple Road is Omaha’s newest, upscale Ultra Lounge that brings a little bit of Miami, Manhattan and Las Vegas to the Heartland.

Our first Smooth Jazz Thursday performance will be Thursday, February 28th, 2013 from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. A special event is being planned so please stay tuned….
